    "Error Loading Type Library\DLL" in GP

    Gday all,

    I have a problem with Win 2003 server.  Group Policy Managment unable to start my server, the error states "error loading library\dll".  I have had a quick search on the net, but havn't seen any threads with regard to this problem.

    This started by users having trouble opening certain apps, I have checked the shortcut targets etc, the apps appear to be installed on the machines, but, users receive no response when attempting to open the apps.  I thought it may of been a GP issue, and as a result have come across this "error loading library\dll" when trying to open GP.

    Any ideas ?

    This will not help you at all. But maybe someone on this interesting site can help me.

    I am looking for technical advice that, I suspect, has a really simple answer. It has to do with autorun for Windows XP. There's lots of stuff about this on the web (including some interesting data on wikipedia) but none of it that I can find, so far, asnwers this question:

    How do I make a CD-ROM disk automatically load the Acrobat Reader AND open a designated PDF file on the disk?

    Happens all the times with disks I receive. But the "autorin.inf" file on those disks has not given me the answer.

    Can anyone here help? Please?

    regards

    Scotch

    In a standard Windows installation the autorun.inf file is the only way to make a CD autoplay.

    The autorun.inf will be calling another program or using a built in comand.

    Like;

    open=ShellRun.exe some.pdf

    cdrun.exe

    shellexecute=some.pdf

    start some.pdf

    What is in the autorun.inf files ?

    Regards
